myfs_89297
Dear Cecil,It is said that Grand Duke resides in SOUTHWEST 1st sector. (202.6 to 217.5 degrees.) in 2003, and that one should not do any earth digging or renovation in that direction. And also one should not sit facing the Grand Duke, but one can sit along with him (i.e to have one?s back to the Grand Duke).?But can one sit or work etc at that location, at 202.6 to 217.5 degrees from the center of the apartment?? i.e given my South 2/3 facing Period 7 apartment on the 9th floor of a multi-storey appt.bldg, with main door at the North Palace, has 8 Mountain Star-4 Yearly Base Star (with 3 Natal Base Star)-6 Water Star, at the South West Palace. Given that my KUA NO is 9, I am facing South 180 to 185 degrees, with my work table/computer, to face the window and playground beneath, as the South has the Auspicious ?One? star this year. So, can one work at that area (South West 1st sector (202.6 to 217.5 degrees from the center of the apt)???Many thanks,Janna
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 25, 2003 Staff Share Posted February 25, 2003 Dear Janna,1. Let me give an example: 2. It is interesting to note that often the advice given for those `playing' majong a 4 player Chinese; for the player to sit e.g. at 210 degrees facing other players. (Frankly, I don't play majong - so cannot say for sure what are the odds like - here).3. In wars, it is always said to be advantages to have the Grand Duke behind the troops.4. Overall, Grand Duke is all about the largest planet in our galaxy. With such a large planet, it is said that the magnetic influence it welds is great. We can, reasonably say that Tai Sui aka Grand Duke relates to the influence of such a force.5. "Sitting" at Grand Duke's location is not akin to like sitting on him or disturbing him, if I read your message correctly.6. But it is often best not to distrub especially the walls - repaint or touch the Grand Duke at 210 degrees. - This is more realistic then, `fearing' moving around this location in the office or home.7. Personally, I feel that it is ok to have the office or work area at this location.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/24/2003 10:08:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Cecil,It is said that Grand Dukeresides in SOUTHWEST 1stsector. Guest
Dear CecilGRAND DUKEI saw your reply to one of the members. You said should not repaint thewall where the Grand Duke is. However, if I am moving to a resale flat andneed to repaint the whole house ie. all the walls, then what happens? Am Idisturbing the Grand Duke? Is'nt it funny to leave one wall unpainted?MAIN ENTRANCE DOORI found that my main entrance door is facing Northwest which is anunauspicious direction for all of our 3 members of the family. However, directions of other rooms are suitable. So do I say this house is suitable for us or not? Thanks your reply.Emily
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 25, 2003 Staff Share Posted February 25, 2003 Dear Emily,Please see below:- Quote On 2/25/2003 3:48:15 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear CecilGRAND DUKEI saw your reply to one of themembers. When one takes over a new house/apartment, one has not being considered as moved-in yet.3. Yes, it is very unrealistic to leave a wall or flooring untouched. It is very impractical - and seems `silly' to do so:)4. This is why another key sucess factor in Feng Shui is the selection of auspicious dates.5. The two most important dates are:-5.1. Selecting a good date for start-of-renovations.5.2. Selecting a date for move-in.6. After selecting an auspicious date for start-of-renovations, the contractor can start work even at the Tai Sui location. Quote MAIN ENTRANCE DOORI found that my main entrancedoor is facing Northwest whichis anunauspicious direction for allof our 3 members of thefamily. However, directions of other rooms aresuitable. So do I say this house issuitable for us or not? Expand 1. The key to understanding this is to look at it from this point of view:-2. Especially for the breadwinner; if a house / apartment is unsuitable; and depending on the degree of unsuitability i.e. death or disaster or irritation or spook; it is akin to having a `fractured arm' when first moved-in.3. If one also has te toilet at the centrepoint and toilet next to the main door; it is akin to having a leg amputated when first moved-in.4. Usually, these are known as `leaks'. The more the leaks, the more or higher the probability that it may lead usually first towards finance problems.5. Therefore, if one has such a home, it is more evident to avoid - ADDITIONAL leaks.6. Going forward; often, problems arise because of one or more such leaks. Warmest Regards,Cecil
