tghwa
Dear Master Cecil Lee,I noticed yesterday that my neighbor has put up a pair of scissors( pointing upwards and the cutter section is opened) on top the window of their master bedroom, which is facing the window of my master bedroom . For your information, my neighbor's second son is suffering from leukemia. My worry is whether the above mentioned placement of scissors will have any detrimental effect on us ( my husband, my daughter and I) who sleep at that direction.Your prompt advice in this matter is very much appreciated.Thank you. Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 6, 2003 Staff Share Posted April 6, 2003 Dear Anon,1. If you can, try to close the window with the day curtain. 2. Often, some people, hang an open scissors at the window grille (symbolic) of `cutting-open' it or not caged.3. If both your house and the neigbhour's house is in close proximity, then for the moment, it is still better to:3.1 First choice hang a convex ba gua mirror facing the `threat'.3.2 An alternative is to hang a mirror but often this mirror should be rectangular 8inch by 8 inch mirror.Until the neighbour remove the scissors, then it is best to protect your home. (No choice!)Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 4/6/2003 3:41:39 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Cecil Lee,I noticed yesterday that myneighbor has put up a pair ofscissors( pointing upwards andthe cutter section is opened)on top the window of theirmaster bedroom, which isfacing the window of my masterbedroom . Appreciate that you may guide me further. To avoid any bad chi to my house. Herewith I try to forward you the image of the neighbour's ba gua. But unable to upload from the file attachment. Looking forward on your concern and sincere reply. Appreciate your assistance. Thank you very much.

Anyway, the earlier (above) write-up is already available.

Herewith I forward the neighbour's Ba Gua images. For your kind consultation further feedback. Appreciate your assistance. 1. Thanks for the photo. 2. Ba Gua WITH a mirror in the middle of it: 2.1. Usually either flat, concave and/or convex. 2.2. Flat mirrors are more for "protection". With the idea that bad spirits coming towards the house see their own image and get scared away. 2.3. If a Ba gua mirror has a convex mirror; often this is used when the house or unit faces a T-junction or an open stairs or a corner aimed towards the main door. 2.4. A Ba gua mirror with a concave mirror, is often used by a neighbour to counter another neigbhour whoe has a ba gua with a convex mirror facing that unit. 3. The photo shown seems to be just a ba gua WITHOUT any mirror. Assuming that you took the photo inside your unit looking out. Or even better if the mirror is inside the neighbour's house and their grille gate is opened. 4. Whatever it is this mirror is meant for their own "protection" from bad spirits. 5. Thus really no threat to your house. 6. Look, here. It is similar to Malays hanging a Isamic verse panel. Or Hindus hanging their god above their door. Or a Catholic or Christian hanging their specific version of a religious cross on their door. 7. Thus frankly, one does not need to counter it with offensive weapons like a scissors or other things to counter it. 8. Furthermore, without any justification, hanging a scissor on one's main door is a double edged sword. 9. Hope this helps.
Austin
Good day, Master Cecil Lee. Other than Ba Gua, what sort of goodwill items for good health and wealth. Master may look into & advise me to hang at my own house. On top of the 1st or 2nd main door entrance ? As an extra precaution facing back. To the neighbour's house without any conflict & argument ? Sincerely appreciate your kind reply. Thank you so much.
