Guest
Dear Master CecilIs HDB upgrading considered a major renovation? If some blocks of flats areselected by HDB for upgrading, exterior surroundings and some interiorupgrade, and completion of the upgrade is in 2 years' time.Does it means that these blocks will then belong to Period 8?They are now Period 6 flats since they were built 23 years ago.Pls advise.ThanksAnon
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 8, 2003 Staff Share Posted April 8, 2003 Dear Anon,1. A key ingredient of Feng Shui is qi flow. 2. Given that there is an upgradig of the grounds and facade. And also the roof has been modified or enhanced, this is very strong grounds for qi change. And thus, most likely, will affect your house period.3. It is very interesting to note that, currently our life span is relatively short e.g. 60 to 80 or even 90 years.4. Since one Flying Star chart is based on 20 years each, many Feng Shui practitioners that are alive today, cannot really provide an exact answer. Anyone claiming to be 100 percent sure - should be looked at with a pinch of salt.5. Here, for example if a Feng Shui practitioner is say 58 years old, most likely, assuming that he practices Feng Shui, he can at most have gone thru only one period change i.e. the 1983 Period 6 Feng Shui.6. A Feng Shui practitioner who is 80 years old may probably go thru 2 of such periods. Even if they had gone thru these two periods, many have yet to look at the type of change that has gone thru these periods, clearly.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 4/7/2003 8:27:48 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master CecilIs HDB upgrading considered amajor renovation?
