mickeymouse
HiThank you for your response on building a house in 2000. I am very new to Feng Shui and full of questions. (I don't suppose that will change).Currently we live in a rented home (and have done so for several years) and plan to commence building our own home in approx 6 months. It would seem that our current home is inauspicious for all of us.I am the "breadwinner" and an East House person. However the main entrance of this house faces the west (death) - the main bedroom is in the irritation sector, the longevity and prosperity sectors are missing and the lounge is in the disaster. My husband is a South-East person and the house seems to be as bad for him.My teenage son is a West House person. While the entrance is in the West and thus excellent - all of the bedrooms in the house fall in bad positions for him - his own bedroom straddles death and irritation. Now given that we are building our home soon and cannot make any structural changes to this rented house. And equally importantly, given the fact that my husband is not concerned with Feng Shui and thinks I'm becoming a crank - what can I do?My main concerns are with my son who, while a good boy, is not working well at school and is becoming quite slovenly (perhaps just a typical boy!).His bedroom door is on a diagonal, cutting off the the north west corner of his bedroom. His bed is located with the end facing the door - I wanted to move it the other day, but my husband just laughed at me. And his room is very cluttered. Also, I am concerned that living in an inauspicious house now may affect our "prosperity" and luck, ie may hold us back in our attempts to save up for our new home.I currently have two jobs - one a full time office job and another where I sell from home - thus this small house becomes very cluttered with large boxes, deliveries, samples etc.Any advice would be welcome. Thank you in advance.Wendy GomersallAdelaide, Australia

Based on Eight House theories, there is very little change or fixes that you can apply. The only thing which I can suggest is that if you are staying in your bad locations sector, what you can do to minimize it is to make sure that you sleep facing your good sectors, that way, you can reduce the influences. Quote Now given that we are buildingour home soon and cannot makeany structural changes to thisrented house. And equallyimportantly, given the factthat my husband is notconcerned with Feng Shui andthinks I'm becoming a crank -what can I do? Well, you cannot force someone to believe something. Just make "reasonable" changes especially those with good reasons. You know many Feng Shui advices are normally very environmentally friendly. Quote My main concerns are with myson who, while a good boy, isnot working well at school andis becoming quite slovenly(perhaps just a typical boy!). Well, I guess that is a growing up phase which is cannot be explained by Feng Shui. Quote His bedroom door is on adiagonal, cutting off the thenorth west corner of hisbedroom. So long as you feel comfortable at the moment, I don't think you need to worry much. Unless you are facing lots of difficulties or health related problems, I think it should be ok.You should be more concerned with it if you have problems, otherwise best to leave it alone.Warmest RegardsRobert Lee Quote I currently have two jobs -one a full time office job andanother where I sell from home- thus this small housebecomes very cluttered withlarge boxes, deliveries, samples etc.Any advice would be welcome.Thank you in advance.Wendy GomersallAdelaide, Australia
