Dear Cecil,
I've come across a website which states that the front door of a house does not necessarily indicate the facing direction of a house. It is the busiest or most attractive part of the house which indicates the direction. Do you agree with this? If yes, please confirm my doubts on a house which has a northwest facing front door and main gate. This house is located on a hill slope with the rear at a slightly higher level. The living area is located at the west and southwest sectors (i.e at the front) of the house. The front faces a small park with few parking lots and another row of terrace houses further ahead. There is a small road behind the backyard. Further from this small road, there is a higher-level main accessible road for the residence of this housing estate. So, is this house southeast facing (i.e. Eastern type of house) rather than northwest facing (western type of house)? Is this house inauspicious because of the higher level road?

Dear Anon,

An In-depth understanding of the Frontage of a home. Is it always the main door? Who are the Conservatives & the Modernist. What lead to the Conservatives use of the Main Door only?

1. Who are the Conservatives and the Modernists?
2. An in-depth understanding of why the Conservatives has misunderstood the knowledge passed down by the ancients.

For High Rise Compass Reading should be taken from the living room looking out of it. For eg. towards the living room windows or its balcony (if applicable)

Warmest Regards,
Cecil Lee

Compass readings differ based on the spot from which they are taken.

Compass readings vary by location due to magnetic declination, which is the angle difference between magnetic north and true north. Understanding how to take accurate readings is essential for effective application of Flying Star Feng Shui
