The dolphins are in a leaping pose. I am wary of hanging up the chime as you caution against using 5 rod chimes. Please advise on the following:# My house is a 7 year house. I do not have details of other stars. But can I add a rod to make it a 6 rod chime and hang it up, in the North direction? # Any details to be looked into if I have to turn it into a 6 rod chime? Also, is all metal chime okay?# Can I remove the chimes and just hang up the dolphins? Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 17, 2003 Staff Share Posted June 17, 2003 Dear Anon,From my personal experience, it is not good to hang a wind chime with various `elements'.For example, it is still better to hang a wind chime that has no more than two elements:Example: A wind chime that has a wood clinger and a wooden `roof' combined with say hollow alluminium/metal rods is still OK.But as you had described, the wind chime that may have several elements e.g. silvery green, if dolphins are blue etc...This year, for a period 7 house, North seems a pretty bad location for most homes.
