My husband and I just moved into an apartment, built in 1960. The structures and fixtures and windows are all original. Being an apartment, the walls have been painted upon new tenant-cy and new tiles have just been placed in the kitchen, however the cabinets are original.
Would this make the "house" a 7 period house or is it the original 5 period house? I am really confused about this because I like it as a 5 period or an 8, but obviously it can't be an 8 period house, because no renovations will be done while we are residing in it.
Thank You for any advice you may have, in advance.

Dear Julie,
In my opinion, based on the information given, it looks more like a Period 5 home than a Period 7.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
