myfs_97766
We are considering the purchase of beautiful property with a small family cemetery (5-6 unmarked graves)in the middle of the front yard, which are ringed by mature hardwood trees. The front of the lot faces south (left corner) to west (right corner). We plan to locate our house so that it is slightly to the left of grave site and approx. 10-15 feet behind it. I am quite concerned about building on this lot because my husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and I do not want to move to a location where death literally sits in front of our home. What can we do to the landscape to create positive energy on the lot? What is the best position for placing the house in relation to the site? Or should we just keep looking for a better site? Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 5, 2003 Staff Share Posted November 5, 2003 Dear Felecia,Usually, the major cause of concern for a landed property is to avoid underground water or sewerage pipes running under the bed. Here, a German study has found that there are high incidence of cancer where beds are located immediately above these pipes running below ground. Quote purchase of beautiful propertywith a small family cemetery(5-6 unmarked graves)in themiddle of the front yard, which are ringed by maturehardwood trees. As more likely, the `yin energy' is considered highest within this 10 years. The older the graves, in my opinion, the lesser the yin energy. Frankly, for the Chinese (especially) many Chinese FS practitioners would often, recommend not to buy the site. (Me included). This is because, the graves are at the frontage of the home. It would be better if the graves are (at least) at the back of the home.Given that your husband has cancer, it would not be too favourable to have such a home. For those who are interested in building a building, here. It is best to retain e.g. natural red brick tiles at the frontage. Since, red is the most yang colour. And natural kiln dried red/orange bricks are the best natural choice.Hope that your husband has a speedy recovery. Will pray hard for him:)Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 11/5/2003 2:39:15 AM, Anonymous wrote:We are considering thepurchase of beautiful propertywith a small family cemetery(5-6 unmarked graves)in themiddle of the front yard, which are ringed by maturehardwood trees.
