myfs_99779
Hi Master Cecil,First of all I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your forum thru which I have a lot of answers to my uncertainties.I would like very grateful if you can advise me on a big nagging issue about my land positioning. My kua number is 9 (dob: Tues 13-Mar-1973 20:50 GMT +4) and I'm of the east group with the most favourable direction being east itself follow by southeast, north and south. The unfavourable direction being NorthEast, West, SouthWest and NorthWest, the latter being the death direction.I purchased a rectangular plot of land for the construction of my house 2 years ago before I learnt about feng shui. And now when I'm performing a compass reading on the land, I discover that direction facing the land or future house if I built the house there, is the North West direction (i.e the NW-death direction is on the side of the land/future house which is in front of the road). I also learnt that the sitting direction of the house is South East which seems to be good for east group people. So if I have the front door slanting at the corner at the front of the house so that it tap auspicious energy or wind from the north direction instead , will it still be an inauspicious house for me or will be some kind of cure but still not so good. (Pls note that the cardical direction north, east, west, south are situated at the corner of the land and the inter-cardinal points are on the faces of the land)Also would it be as bad if I have the garage door facing the north west or west direction as well because it would only be accessible via the front road passing in front of my house. Is there any favourable position to place the main door in this kind of situation. As we have not yet construct the house, we can surely do amendments to the doors placements.Thank you very much for your precious time and kind help. I hope to make a good decision with your precious help to wether or not start the construction on the land. Many ThanksKesaven

I am glad that you find the forum useful.I have always keep the forum messages "alive" since this forum program captured all the messages as far back as 6-7 years ago. And will continue to make the resources freely available to everyone wanting to understand as much as they can.I therefore, appeal to all users to make an effort to use the SEARCH feature in this forum. It is not like searching thru, tons of paper. But rather, for those who have rather lazy or fat fingers, should excercise them! No point have a shapely body figure but fingers are so...so fat! Not proportionate to size. Quote I would like very grateful ifyou can advise me on a bignagging issue about my landpositioning. Study the various probable facing direction charts for your home, first.2. For example, since your original facing direction is NW, under Period 8, NW1, this layout can enjoy the "pearl-string" flying star chart. Do also explore the NW2 and NW3 type of chart.3. If your door can be properly tilted to North direction, yes, if it is tilted correctly even at the frontage, you can have the North direction influence. 4. Frankly, if you have either limited knowledge, or unable to collectively, combine all concepts, then, please seek professional help.5. Facing the door to a favourable direction is but one of the many considerations.6. Shapes and Forms: Equally important, is e.g. the sitting of the toilet(s), bedrooms, even staircase up to the rooms/kitchen etc... are equally important. In your case, I strongly suggest, that you seek professional help. Since, your home has not been constructed, yet. I sincerely, believe this is the most cost-effective method, given that, you may not have covered most of the issues. Or if so, may have limited knowledge. However, if you are confident enough, and if the "commonsense" approach is applied, on the other hand, this is equally acceptable. It is equally important to check and if possible avoid bedroom(s) or common rooms e.g. living room under direct sun-light. For example, with or without Feng Shui, unless, one has being living in the Sahara - and cannot live without this atmosphere, then locating the bedroom under the west location is fine. But for many, who want comfort, sleeping in a cooler room, should do otherwise.Warmest Regards,Cecil
