Respected Master Cecil,
I am re-writing my post from Jan. 21/04 about House Facing and Bedroom Position as I am afraid it was too long and detailed ( my guess as to why it is not being answered). I do apologize but I have taken in so much information lately, some of it contradictory and much of it confusing, so I tried (unsuccessfully) to explain myself but probably ended up making things worse. Anyhow, I know you are very busy so I will try to ask my questions more concisely.
Here goes... My first question is about current House Period and how new Period 8 will affect. My house is a period 7 house with all major renovations done by 2002. Currently ( as I have read) my house facing NW3 is supposed to be prosperous and I am wondering, if no more major reno is done, will the change to period 8 affect a house which is under period 7 or is it only if major work is done "flying" the house to period 8 that the current settings of the house will be altered.
I also wondered if you could clarify the facing of the house question. I have searched and read numerous sources on this subject but still end up confused. How does one judge which part of the house is facing? I know that it is the yang (most active) part of the house that is best suited to be facing. In my case my kitchen and fam. room (most used areas) face the back but we never use those entrances to go in or out of the house unless going to the back yard. Also, I have trees and roads both in front and back of my house and front doors in the centre of the front of house. Could you clarify this for me?
Finally, I have a question about bedroom positioning. My master bedroom runs the whole West side of my house (from front to back) with an octagonal shaped sitting room which extends to the front of the house (above main doors). According to my personal kua, the west is not at all suitable for bedroom with only the NE being worse(death). As I cannot move my bedroom, what do people incompatible with their bedroom positions do? I frequently have restless sleep, bad dreams and anxiety attacks where I have gone to emergency room thinking something is wrong.
I hope this a better attempt at getting advice and I truly appreciate your time reading and answering this post.
Thank You Sincerely,
Sylvia

Frankly, since your home is a NW3 home, it is better to remain as a NW3 Period 7 home. As it is still able to tap on the auspicious Pearl String effect of such a period 7 home.
Although, this is not the best or ideal situation, it is better to face the "devil's advocate" if your home were to "fly" into Period 8. Given that, there will be more problems or less than ideal condition for your home to be under Period 8.

The most yang part of a home need not necessarily mean that one must have a main entrance, here. Given, this senario, usually, the location where there are most windows. For trees everywhere, this is not a major issue, since, they can be "cut-down".

If your bed is located at NE sector, Period 7, NW3, then this bedroom is afflicted by MS#9 (strong fire) with WS#2 (sickness). This is an inauspicious combination since: Fire supports or fuels bad earth #2.
Where possible, check that the room (if it is at NE) should not have too much Fire (red, pink or purple) and Earth (Yellow, cream or beige). A metal cure should be used at this NE sector to balance it.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
