myfs_100210
Hi,My kitchen is located in the NE sector of the house. The stove faces the north in the kitchen sector. The toilet sink is directly behind the stove's wall. Also the fridge is just opposite the stove (but the fridge's door is not directly facing the stove). A panel of mirror has been glued on the fridge to reflect the stove (I was advised to do so). Please advice on the above situation. Also, I'm presently considering relocating the stove to face the east sector of the kitchen instead. By doing so, the stove would fall into the east sector of the house (the health sector). Would this affect my family's health? I also intend to place the fridge in the stove's present location. Would it post any problem for the fridge and toilet sink to share the share wall? Thanks. With Warmest Regard.Lee Seng
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 27, 2004 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2004 Dear Lee Seng,Frankly, it is better if you have simple sketch rather than all descriptive words to eliminate mis-interpretation and the need to aborb too many lines. Futhermore, a picture, tells a thousand words.Generally, for a kitchen located at the South compass direction of a home, here, the stove can face the fridge. Since south has the element of fire. But if the kitchen is at the North compass direction, or NE direction, than preferably, the stove should not "see" the fridge. Please see below:- Quote On 1/26/2004 8:13:02 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi,My kitchen is located in theNE sector of the house.
