Hi Master Lee,
We are moving to a new house soon, and i intend to put my two girls(7,5) sharing a bed room which is in the middle of the house. However, according to the Ba Zi analysis, they are of different sleeping directions, one NW,W,SE or NE and the other: N, SE, E,S. To make matter worse, they are to be sleeping on a double deck bed. Most likely to be placed in North-South orientation(head towards north).
Is this arrangement okay for the time being.. until they are older?
Also, is it okay to put a study table in the bedroom?
Please advise. Thank you very much

Dear Amelia,
1. Yes, I personally feel that the arrangement is OK.
2. This is because, of many us who have children would be aware that when they sleep, they practically roll all over the bed in all directions. So let them be.
3. Don't rob them of their youth:)
4. On the issue of a double-decker bed.
In the past, I had posted a message that in my opinion, there is no issue with a double-decker bed.
The "misunderstand" arose because some FS practitioners claim that sleeping under a double-decker bed is no good. As it acts like a beam.
But, let us look at it logically:
1. double-decker beds was not just invented this year or the last. It has been around for many, many years. In fact, I also sleep under one 40 years ago.
2. many people, even scholars have slept under one, such as when they lived in a hostle.
3. Unlike a beam, the top deck is flat and does not act as a concentrated beam.
Let's pity our children and give them breather space, before the spectre of Feng Shui gets into them.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
