myfs_101140
My wife and I are thinking of buying a house at the center of a cul-de-sac. There are three houses on this cul-de-sac, and the one we're considering is at the center. Although the lot is directly at the center of the cul-de-sac, the front of the house is not perfectly perpendicular to the street, and is tilted somewhat towards the right (if you're facing the house). The street leading to the cul-de-sac is only about 2 lot lengths before the you reach the circle. The house faces Northwest, and it has a fireplace on its Southeast wall.Does this have the same effect as having a house on a t-junction? Is this house badly situated?Anyone's guidance on this will be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Patrick
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 22, 2004 Staff Share Posted February 22, 2004 Dear Patrick,Would it be possible to upload a simple sketch of the home. This is because, if you go thru some of the past postings, some homes can take "advantage" of the cul-de-sac to collect wealth, but others are "hammered" by it.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/22/2004 2:07:24 AM, Anonymous wrote:My wife and I are thinking ofbuying a house at the centerof a cul-de-sac.
