Hi,your advice has been very useful.I have another question. Is it ok to keep a pair of fishes in a fish tank in the master bedroom? If so,what is the best direction in which to place the fish tank?
(P.S:The reason is because I'm a tenant in this house renting a huge master room, hence trying to accommodate all my favourite things in the room with me.)
Thank you for your time.
Nisha.

Dear Nisha,
It is understandable, when you mentioned that you are only a tenant and would like to have many of your favourite things in your bedroom.
Yes, I do encourage you to make first and foremost your room as comfortable with all your favourite things! It does not matter if there are fishes. But, it brings you both pleasure and comfort - GO FOR IT!
The logic here is based on this understanding:
1. Often, many good FS practitioners will stick to or advise their clients on the Holy Trinity of Feng Shui:
1.1 Heaven Luck - what is given to us
1.2 Earth Luck - our abode / work place
1.3 Human Luck - what brings us happiness:)
Sometimes, for some, we have limited earth luck i.e. we do not own the place. However, often, if we are happy, positive in life, this is human luck. And it can actually bring up our life (despite average earth luck etc..)
So, do follow your heart! Cheers!
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
