Overcoming /counteracting bad feng shui

Master Lee,
I have deciphered through your advice pages that my front door needs to face 'the west' and that I do have areas that are not so good for us as a family. To counter these so called bad areas in the East, SE S and N where in the E I have my youngest son's b/room, in the S we have our kitchen, N is where we have our family room and SE is a spare b/room.
What must we do to counter these bad vibes.

To be honest, your question is too general, thus it is like calling all black cats "bad" without relevance to each specific sector's imbalances (if Flying Star Feng Shui is applied).

Master Lee,
I do apologize for the ambiguous way I asked the question, to be specific:
North - Family room - Disaster
East - 11 year old's b/room - Death
SE - Spare b/room - Irritation
South - Kitchen - Spook
My front door faces the West as I am a in the West House sector as my DOB is 15/08/57, unsure as to the time I was born.
I sincerely do appreciate your advice to this predicament.
