myfs_97712
Is it okay to place mirror in dining area??(Mirror facing east direction)
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 5, 2004 Staff Share Posted March 5, 2004 Dear Anon,In general, without a FS assessment:1. Mirror should not face an open window or the balcony area. As wealth can be reflected out of the house2. Many Cantonese (Chinese dialect group) love to have a mirror facing the dining area. As they feel that it would bounce off twice the amount of "food" on the table.3. For those who stay in a high rise; and if the wall is particularly long, sometimes, the contractor would arrange for cut pieces of mirror to be sent up to your home for installation. If so, avoid, installing two identical pieces of mirror. This is because, if installed, and if one stands at the centre of the mirror, one can look at a "split" in the exact middle which is considered not auspicious. If the contractor cannot really assemble one full piece of glass; then as a last resort go for three pieces i.e. the biggest piece in the middle while the other two equal sized pieces on each side of the large piece.http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/5/2004 7:12:34 AM, Anonymous wrote:Is it okay to place mirror indining area??(Mirror facing east direction)
Christina Ang
Hello Master Lee,As mentioned below, you highlighted that the Mirror shouldn't be facing awindow. Currently at my dinning hall there is a stretch of mirror and it isfacing the window. Is there any remedy for this situation without having todismantle it?And another matter is installing cut pieces of two identical pieces ofmirror. Apparently we also have 1 whole stretch of cut pieces of twoidentical pieces of mirror being install in the dinning hall, (The mirrorwhich I've mentioned earlier facing dinning table & also facing table) whichyou have mentioned is not auspicious. Is there also any remedy for this?Pls. help!Your precious advice is greatly appreciated.Warmest Regards,Christina-----Original Message-----From: free-advice Listmanager[mailto:free-advice.listmanager@forum.geomancy.net]Sent: NoneTo: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressedSubject: Mirror in dining areaFrom: Cecil LeeDear Anon,In general, without a FS assessment:1. Christina Ang
Hello Master Lee,Recently I?ve bought a Sailing Ship from China Town as advice by mycolleagues. Some of my colleagues study feng shui. But not in ddep study, very basic knowledge. They told me that if I want to increase my wealthsector, ask me to buy a Sailing ship and place it facing the main door. Onecolleague told me that the sailing ship should be facing outwards to themain door. But another colleague telling me that I must position the ship in such a waythat it is sailing inwards and into my house facing the main door. He alsoadded that I must not leave the ship empty and need to put a lot of ancientChinese Coins and many gold ingots in the ship. Making it as if the shipsails in with a lot of money.I?m confused with what my colleagues has advised. Can you advice me on thecorrect way of putting the sailing ship? It is o.k. to face the main doorwith the sailing ship positioning sailing into my house? What is the reasonbehind to display ship?Your reply is much appreciated.Thanks.Warmest Regards,Christina
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 23, 2004 Staff Share Posted March 23, 2004 Dear Sor Lan,Frankly, not sure whether, the ship sails "into" or "out-of" is a sure way to get more money. For sure, the seller of the ship, would instead be garanteed of some profit selling it to us.Anyway, under symbolism, in my opinion, if your ship is laden with gold ingots, I would have to say that it is best to sail "to port" or face inwards to your home. Here, wealth is suppose to come in.On the other hand, if the ship is empty, than, "let it set sail outwards" or pointed out of the home.Do let us know if at the end of the day, do you managed to get more wealth, this wayhttp://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_smile.gifWarmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/23/2004 6:41:33 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hello Master Lee,Recently I?ve bought a SailingShip from China Town as adviceby mycolleagues. Christina Ang
Hello Master Lee,This question is being asked on behalf of my sister-in-law.Recently a customer of hers bought a dragon tortoise, made of some expensivefiber plastic (which has been ?Kai Guang?) as a gift to her for housewarming. Her customer told her that the dragon tortoise should sit facingthe main door and should be place into a nice glass bowl with some water init and lots of ancient Chinese coins or real coins. My sister-in-law did not like the idea having to put water in the bowl asshe explained that it might lead to breeding of mosquitoes. Hence, she isasking any remedy to replace water with something else? She also askingmust the dragon tortoise being place facing the main door? What are the benefits of placing the dragon tortoise facing the main door? Can it be place somewhere else? What other accessories can be placed in thebowl other than putting ancient Chinese coins? Please advice.Thanks.Warmest Regards,Christina
