Hi Master Cecil
I have just bought a Lu Ban Ruler (feng shui ruler) and how can I use it. I intend to purchase a painting to enhance my living room and how do I get the desired measurements. Do I measure length and breath or the sum of all the sides(Perimeter)?

Dear Kian Watt,
For the Feng Shui ruler, the upper markings are for Yang Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the living.
The lower markings or the second level or on some rulers the bottom readings are for the dead (Yin Feng Shui).
Frankly, there is often no issue with the need for an exact dimension for a painting. More importantly, if it looks nice and appeals to our "man-luck-factor" or "feel good factor, this will be good enough!
