myfs_101370
I was borned on 15 February 1966 at 10.30 a.m. According to your Ba Zi/Personal Element Report, I am a "Strong Wood" person. But, according to some Feng Shui masters, I am a "Yin Wood" person. Why is there such a difference between your calculation of my life element and the other Feng Shui masters. What is my actual life element? Please advise. Thank you.
Staff Robert Lee Posted March 20, 2004 Staff Share Posted March 20, 2004 Dear Vincent,1. Our report does shows you as a Yin Wood person as your Heavenly Stem of the DAY is Yi.http://www.geomancy.net/online/hsnew_yi.gifCheck your ba zi chart and you should also see this in the Heavenly Stem of the day. 2. However, what you do not understand here is that Yin DOES NOT mean that that person is a WEAK. Neither do Yang mean that that person is STRONG. Yin can also have Weak or Strong Yin and Yang can also have Weak or Strong Yang. So it does not mean that because your heavenly stem of the Day is Yi (Yin Wood), that you are automatically a Weak wood person.3. Whether or not you are a weak or strong person, is ultimately determined by several other factors such as seasons of birth, number of elements in your chart as well as clashes and combinations. Only when you know this portion, will you be able to know for sure if you are a Weak Yin Wood or Strong Yin Wood person. Our report determined you are a Strong Yin Wood person simply because you have 31% of your favourable elements compared to 22% unfavourable element. So because you have more favourable then unfavourable, you are a Strong Yin Wood person.4. So point here is that:-- Yin Wood IS NOT EQUAL to Weak Wood- Yang Wood IS NOT EQUAL to Strong WoodYin and Yang can both be Stronger Yin or Weaker Yin as well as Strong Yang or Weaker Yang. That is why there is the Yin and Yang Symbol which present as follows:-http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-yinyang.htm5. Also, you need to understand that if you do not do a comprehensive ba zi analysis by considering all factors that goes into determining whether you are a weak or strong person, then the person doing your calcuation will determine your chart differently. For example, say if a combination was not considered which convert 3 of your earthly branch from say wood to fire, and you are a weak wood which needs wood, but because of the combination that took place, you no longer have wood presence and thus, this makes you weaker. So if such consideration are not taken into consideration, you get different ba zi element result. Meaning that before such combination took place your chart may be considered a Strong Wood, but because of the combination it became a weak Wood. So such issues can cause a big difference in analysis. Our free report (though free), does all these analysis as comprehensively as the paid report. Just that in the free report we do NOT show you all the details and only show you 1 favourable and 1 unfavourable element to avoid. But anyway, you are strong because you ultimately have more favourable elements then unfavourable.6. As mentioned different masters / consultant may not do a comprehensive or use different analysis tools to analysis so results may be different. You are highly advised to follow advice from a single master/consultant which you feel comfortable with. And you should NEVER mix advises from two different person as you will not know what theories or concept where used to advise you. Reason I say this that even for ba zi, there are so many different issues such as people applying timezone difference, or even breaking up Zi hour into earlier or later Zi, etc. All these different controversial issues, will cause different person to use analysis a ba zi differently.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGeomancy.Net - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research Quote On 3/20/2004 11:42:33 AM, Anonymous wrote:I was borned on 15 February1966 at 10.30 a.m. Accordingto your Ba Zi/Personal ElementReport, I am a "Strong Wood"person.
