Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 10, 2004 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2004 Dear Guest,From a "Commonsense approach to Feng Shui" ideally, bedrooms should not be located at the centrepoint of the home:1. Firstly, if none of the walls share an external wall, this often suggest that the middle room is "at the mercy" of open windows or it is quite difficult or harder for air flow to circulate to the centre or middle of the room. And most likely, there are "dead qi" around this area - if no proper ventilation.2. Fire safetyThis is not so much of Feng Shui but as many of us are aware, if or should a real fire occur, most likely, the middle room could be engulfed with smoke. And not only this, rescue attempts or even planned escape is much harder.3. PrivacyLiterally, there can be less privacy at this middle room if more than 1 window or door needs to be opened for ventilation. Quote --- because the room is sosmall we don'tYes, no amount of Feng Shui can help, in this area i.e. space.Warmest Regards,Cecil Expand Quote On 8/10/2004 9:21:15 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Expert,I would like to know if anyadvice could be offered abouthaving toomany doors in a room -- theroom is near the middle of thehouse it is asquare of dimension 5feet by5feet but there are 6 doors --(four toother rooms and 2 closets)--- because the room is sosmall we don'tknow what to do --- the housemain entrances are from thewest and east//can you help?
