Guest
Cecil,Currently, my stove is directly infront of the kitchen's entrance (i.e.when I'm standing at entrance, the stove is directly infront of me). Theknobs (i.e. control) of the cooker are facing the kitchen's windows (East).Following are my questions:(1) Any problem for stove to be directly infront of kitchen's entrance?(2) When we said position of the stove, do the knobs play a part? (3) The construction of stove should be on an auspicious date. What if Idon't have a stove to hold the cooker. Instead, the cabinet's tabletop isthe one which hold the cooker (this is common nowadays). So, must I choosean auspicious date to construct the cabinet? Or, choose an auspicious dateto install the cooker?(4) Can I construct an "open" shelf to hold my Gods of Respect? Or an"enclosed" one?Your advice is much appreciated.ANG
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 7, 1999 Staff Share Posted August 7, 1999 Dear Bill,Please see below:- Quote On 8/4/99 12:46:13 AM, Anonymous wrote:1. What is the meaning behindthe three legged gold toadwith coin in the mouth,In true traditional Feng Shui and the three legged gold toad with coin the mouth. The three legged toad (gold or wood) is a commercial product. Many sellers sell it on the basis that they belife it is suppose to `bring good luck' to the owner. Quote 2. con vexed mirrorsandUsually these mirrors are hung above the main door with the Ba Gua symbol to dispel evil spirits. There is another type of Ba Gua mirror with the Two door Gods. Again, this is said to protect against evil spirits. It is usually used by some practising Feng Shui practioners (with links to their personal religion) e.g. Taoism and they themselves believe that their clients should place these Ba Gua above their doors. Quote 3. who is god BA GUA? From what I understand, if you are talking about the First Heaven Sequence Ba Kua, it is said to be originated by the ancient Chinese sage King called Fuxi. Some call it God because they think that it derived from the Heaven i.e. the formation of the Ba Gua.A sample of the First Heaven Sequence Ba Gua can be found at: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/pakua.htmWarmest Regards,Cecil Quote please can you help as I havejust begun to sell these itemsand someone is bound to askwhat they mean.Bill.
