Dear Sir

On 3 August 2004, I moved into an apartmentlocated in a nine-storey condominium building which was constructedin 1991. I then engaged a Feng Shui Master to provide me with a Flying Star Feng ShuiAnalysis Report for the aforesaid apartment and I was puzzled when the Feng Shui Master indicated that Star #8 is the Time Star in the Central Palace of the Flying StarChart for my apartment instead of Star #7 although this apartment was built during Period 7 because the date which I moved into this apartment was during Period 8, i.e. on 3 August 2004. Inthis connection, I would be most grateful if your honourable expertise could kindly enlighten me whetherit is correct to analyzemy apartmentas a Period 8 home in Flying Star Feng Shui?

Thank you for your kind advice on the abovesaid issue.

Dear Vincent,

I would agree with you that central palace could most likely still be a Period 7 especially if there is no major renovations done on or after CNY 2004.

For example, if you had not done any major renovations or if the existing owners did not do any major renovations; or if there are no major renovations done on the external also, then normally it is best to consider your home as a Period 7.

However, after taking over the apartment this year, if you had done a major renovation, then your apartment can be considered as a Period 8.

In my opinion, if you did not do a major renovation, it should be considered as a Period 7 analysis.

Early this year, there were quite alot of postings on how to change to Period 8 or the actions on how to do so.

Usually, it is often best to study your chart to see if which Period is more favourable. And often, a good practitioner would often chart out two charts to give one an option especially if one has yet to do any major renovations -- if you have not done so, yet. So that one has a better understanding or advice.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
