Renovation

I personal would like to thank you for replying my questions all this while. Its help me to improve my knowledge too.

Q. We intend to do some renovation. This house was built since 1984. If to change to period 8. Do we have to do major renovation and house warming? How about house warmingduring Chrismas or Chinese New Year? My husbandEight House chart (Zai Yun) his longevity (heaven gate) located in the kitchen. I presume the location is not recommended. He is the only breadwinner. I read from your forum its helpful to me and the spouse should next begiven a better direction does that mean eventhough the spouse or any member of the family who is not working the best location (Eight house chart) can be consider. If we were to choose anyone of the family eight house chart (zai yun) will it affect the breadwinner as the main door location is either 'Death' or'Disaster'.

Dear Sophia,

Frankly, the Eight House theory has it's limitations. This is because often once we have already bought the home (a fully completed home), we are not able change the interior of the home such as the toilets or major wall structures.

It is best therefore that for a completed home, it is good to try to apply the Flying Star Theory to check for any imbalances and correct them.

As to flying to Period 8 and the many ways of doing so without a major renovation, please do a SEARCH in this forum for this topic since it has been extensively covered especially in the beginning of this year if one does not want to do a major renovation.
