myfs_109883
hello, I am Maria from Costa Rica and I live in a house facing East (95-97 degrees) aprox, my question is that i want to put a fountain just inside my front door to the right corner as you enter, because i have a rock garden in this area. This corner would be the NE corner. The flying star chart for this NE area is a:2 7 9 (year 7, month 3)the house is about 30 years old and my min-gua # is a 9 and I belong to the 4 East groups. could somebody please advise me if I can place the fountain here, which is what I've been wanting to do for some time now.Thank you for help, Maria
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 4, 2005 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2005 Dear Maria,Placing a water feature at the location mentioned below can be a double-edged sword: both good and bad.1. Usually we hear of the good news, first:-with a star combination of #2 with #7 and base #9; this implies that your home was built between 1984 to 2003 or had a major renovations done during this period. If so, MS#2 is a pain-in-the-neck drowning that period's auspicious #7. Today, in 2004 onwards, #7 is known as the past prosperity star. Thus, you are correct to say that a water feature can be used here. This is because #7 is known as Weak Metal. And under the Five Elements concept: Metal supports Water. Thus in this first part of the equation, a water feature is acceptable, here. However, since #7 is a weak metal, it does not have the strength to draw out more of the ill effects of #2. If one understands the productive cycle of the Five Elements: Earth - Quote Metal - -WaterHere if we subsitute the information, given =#2 (Strong earth) - #7 (Weak metal) -Water (a water feature or fountain = strong water)Thus what is out of balance in the above equation is that #7 = WEAK metal. While the rest of the equation are Strong (Earth & Water).Given the above understanding, thus what is missing to make the fountain more effective is the addition of Metal element(s).Additional metal can be in the form of the shape e.g. a circular fountain. Where circle represents metal element. Or an alternative are metal element fishes such as Koi (carp), gold fish or even dragon fishes. Or the addition of a set of 6 coins thrown into the water feature. #6 represents Strong Metal.2. The bad news:-When one stands inside the home looking outwards, a water feature to the right side of the home could encourage illicit affairs / or roving eyes = Flower of romance.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/1/2005 11:09:32 AM, Anonymous wrote:hello, I am Maria from CostaRica and I live in a housefacing East (95-97 degrees)aprox, my question is that iwant to put a fountain justinside my front door to theright corner as you enter, because i have a rock gardenin this area. myfs_109883
Thank you so much for your answer, so it seems that it would not be so harmless if I do make the fountain here, but when I am standing inside looking out (east), this fountain would actually be to my left hand side in the NE corner, what would be the implications now. Thanks again , Maria Quote On 2/4/2005 2:02:18 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Maria,Placing a water feature at thelocation mentioned below canbe a double-edged sword: bothgood and bad.1.
