Hi Master Cecil,

Attached is the floorplan of my second-hand condo brought from open market. I have the following questions and hope you could kindly advise.

(1) Is this GROUND FLOOR house consider SE facing (Front Door) or SW facing (Patio) ?

(2) Is a STRONG FIRE person suitable for this house?

Thanks

Dear Anon,

Some practitioners may consider the apartment asSE facing because the main entrance is located facing SE.

If so, since SE facing is wood, it is not suitable for a Strong Fire person.

On the other hand, the alternative view is that it can be SW facing i.e. earth element. Thus, would be suitable to a Strong Fire person.

Usually, without an onsite visit, I believe many traditionalist practitioners would consider your apartment as a SE facing one as the defacto facing direction of the apartment.

Often, a more accurate assessment is needed e.g. onsite to view the surrounding buildings, garden, open space and to locate the qi flow coming towards the unit eithervia main entrance or the PES area etc..

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
