Year of the Rooster for Ox people

I have read other feng shui websites that say this year, 2005 year of the rooster is favorable for Ox people.

Then I went to this feng shui store and read a book that says this is a bad year for Ox people.

This is confusing since one says good and the other says bad. Who am I to believe?

Dear Anon,

Frankly, when you read any Horoscope forecast, most of the time you must always remember that it is a general forecast only.

Each person who creates a forecast, uses different concepts or tools available to him or her to be able to attempt to analyse the different animal signs to determine whether an animal sign is good or bad.

Frankly, I can tell you that even for an Ox, there is at least 10 different kinds of Ox, so not all are good or bad. ie a weak water Ox, Strong water Ox etc. Each kind of element will have different luck for that year.

That is why you see on our forecast, we attempt to give you a full breakdown of animal signs and their associated element. This will give you a better picture of whether Ox in general is good or bad for you.

Since we also use Ba Zi, as long as there isn't any major clash or harms, then it isn't a very bad year for the Ox. In our forecast we consider Ox as an average luck for the year. Not too good or not too bad.

But ultimately, it depends on what kind of Ox are you. ie weak Water Ox for example needs to be extra careful, whereas Strong Water Ox will benefit from the Rooster year.
