Good Evening,
I have been studying your site for the past 2 weeks. So, may I say, first & foremost that you have the most informative Feng Shui site that I have found on the web. I truly appreciate the time & effort you put into it. It's been a tremendous help. That said, I have yet to come to any information on mobile (manufactured) homes. I have noticed no mention of these types of homes only apartments & regular built homes. I have boughta mobile home& will be moving it onto my property in aabout a week. I would like to get my information straight before it arrives so I know the best way to position it. According to the "Home Calculator" it asks when the home was built or when the last renovation was. I'd like to know if I should use the year it was built or of if I should use the year we get it & make some changes to it. May I ask what exactly is considered renovations? When I get this mobile home, it will need to be painted on the inside, the carpet & the linoleum removed & replaced as well. Plus there will be closet organizers put up/nailed to the inside of the closets. I consider these to be renovations, but does Feng Shui?

Also, to change the subject a bit, we have a fireplace in the center of the home. I know we shouldn't have something like fire or a toilet in the middle of the home, but it came like that. I have no intention of using it except to put stockings during Christmas on the mantle. So, if we don't use it, how badly will it still affect us? fficeffice" />

One last question if you please: I intend to put my boys in one room to share. They are Strong Water & Strong Wood. Would it be best to decorate the room in colors of earth & fire in order to bind the boys so there will be less animosity?

Thank you for your time! Have a great day!!

Dear Shan,

Glad that you enjoy the website.

The reason there isn'tinfo on mobile homes, is that there isn't such a thing in the past. All homes once built isn't built to move around. But in any case, since the home is mobile, I would say that the date you move the home in would be the year the house will be considered built. So it that means period 8 (2004-2023). So this should be probably the best way to classify the year it was built in your case.

If this isthe only flaw, then it shouldn'tbe too bad.As long as you correct whatever you can in all other area, this one flaw shouldn't cause too much of a problem. Itis like you fail to answer 1 question out of 20, it does not mean you will fail.

Yes, Fire and Earth will help. But take note for Earth element avoid using BRIGHT yellow as that often may activiate sickness/illness stars in the flying star analysis.

Hope that helps.
