Dear Bridget,

The two concepts are different:-

1. Flying star is about the luck of the house, where is the wealth stars, where are the inauspicious stars of the house. This analysis tells you whethera sector is good or not or how much luck you can get from the home itself.

2. Eight House on the other hand is about the suitability of the sector, or best direction. A good sector of the home based on the flying star does not mean it will be suitable to you or not. ie say the bedroom has excellent flying star luck, but if the bedroom sector falls in the North and your Eight House tells you this is Death/Disaster sector. No matter how good the stars of the North sector of the house, it does not fit you. Since it does not fit you, it means you cannot get the maximium amount of luck from staying in that sector even though the luck of the flying star is good.

So Eight House is about how you suit a sector or bedroom, while flying star is about how good the luck of that portion of the house will be. It is still possible to correct flaws if the flying star is inauspicious, but it is not possible to fix up a unsuitable sector. If a sector does not fit you, no matter how you correct it, it will still not fit you.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
Robert Lee
