Hi,

I'm planning to move to my new house in early May. However, before the actual moving day, i plan to move some of my old furniture into the new house. Heard that we should not move the old furniture to the new house if we as the owner haven't move in. Is that true? pls advice.

Hi Theresa,

Yes, that is correct. If you haven't yet move-in to the house, never bring in old furnitures. New furnitures that are delivered in before the move-in is ok. The moment you bring in old furnitures, that will symbolise that you have move in the house. Thus, move in your old furnitures only after you have selected your auspicious date to move in officially.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
