myfs_112641
Hi,I understand that it is best to have your bed behind a solid wall. But there is a beam on top of my bed and I understand that it is not good to sleep under a beam. I intend to fill up the void under the beam by creating a false wall using particle board and place my bed there. As the wall is a false wall and hence not 'solid', does it means not good as my bed does not have a real solid wall behind it?My bedroom toliet door also faces directly across my bed, therefore my sink and mirroralso faces directly across my bed when i open the bathroom door. Please advise if it is ok by keeping the bathroom door closed. Thanks

Just like if you use a false ceiling to cover the beams, this also create an empty ceiling, but it is the best way of covering beams. What you don't see will no longer create a problem.Usually, what we mean by a bed should be anchored to a wall is that a bed should not be floating in the center of the room without been placed closed to a wall. A false wall is still considered a wall. So no issue here.Anonymous wrote:My bedroom toliet door also faces directly across my bed, therefore my sink and mirroralso faces directly across my bed when i open the bathroom door. Please advise if it is ok by keeping the bathroom door closed.Of course, ideally, if possible you should place the bed such that it can avoid the toilet door. However, in today's environment, most master bedroom will have a door facing the bed due to space constrains in the design of the house. One of the common thing to do is to have a bed stand and lamp which symbollise a partition between the door and bed. This will be good enough to act as a partition to the bed.So as long as you keep the toilet door close when not in use, this should further reduce any impact of the toilet to the people staying in the room. Furthermore, a home toilet no matter how dirty can't be as dirty as a public toilet. So shouldn't be a major issue for most people.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET- Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
myfs_112641
Dear Robert, thanks for your advice.Understand that it is best that the bed should face the bedroom door so that we can see whoever comes into the room. Can we place the bed such that is back is on the wall of the bedroom door? Why is this bad and what bad luck will it bring to the owner? Thanks.
