Dear Master Lee,

I am looking at buying a property where I can build my new home.

There are 3 problems in the property:

1. Main Sewagetunnel crossing through the property (diagonally - see attachment) but it is 28 metres below the surface with size 2m high and 1 m width. The property is sitting on a solid sediment rock surface.

2. Even the property has the same level as the street, butthere is a valley at theback of the property. Just behind the property there are many big trees (higher than the house) and behind those tree there is a small pond (at the bottom of the valley).

3. The house is facing north east.

Is there a way to counter the negative impact of those 3 problems, or I simply have to forget about this property? Thanks you very much for your help. I hope I can repay you one day if you are in Sydney.

Best regards,

Eddy

Since you haven't bought it, I would strong advise against purchasing it. There are quite a number of articles about such houses and the problems from it. So far, there has been no effective solutions to counter the negative impact from such underground water.

So if you haven't purchase it, don't buy it. Look for other better property.

Warmest Regards
