myfs_109681
My house was built in period 7 and its front entrance is the west (actually side entrance) but the facing direction is south. My question, if my house was built in period 7,what flying star chart should I follow, period 7 or period 8? Right now I have made some cures in my home but I followed the flying star chart of 2005. Am I right? Please give me some advice on what to do? Thank you.

In order to determine if your home is still a period 7 or period 8, you will need to confirm whether there are any major renovations done in 2004/2005.You see a house does not change to the new period automatically unless you make enough changes to the house structure especially to change the luck flow within the house itself. Therefore, your house by default will still be a period 7 house. Only when major renovations work are done in period 8, will it cause the house to fly over to the new period. If you plan to make major renovation this year, then you can consider to check period 7 and perior 8 house luck, see whether it is better or not to fly over to the new period. If luck is better, then should fly over to the new luck period, else keep the existing luck.As for the yearly flying star, this chart will be same for all houses. But how it interacts with the base sector consisting of the Mountain Star-Base Star-Water Star will affect the overall influence of the sector. This is because the same yearly star in period 7 and period 8 will have different overall influence. ie period 7 (NW sector has 5-2-5 and yearly 5 will be very bad)ie period 8 (NW sector has 6-6-7 and yearly star 5 not too bad)It is never advisable to simply make cure based on the year star without considering what base influence is affecting that sector.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
