myfs_114613
Dear Cecil,This is really a very informative and interesting website and I find your advice really useful and easy to understand. My wife and I are seriously looking at a second 3 rooms unit at the Forrest Hills Condo recently. However, my wife told me that a Feng Shui master told her that this piece of land that the condo is located on is very bad. The unit that we are looking at is on the second floor and has north(main door) &south(living rooms and all rooms)facings. The rooms' windows are all facing the pool and directly at the main entrance of the condo. Both my wife and me are Gua 7 & 6 respectively. I am told that my best facing is West but why would I want any condo facing that direction? My questions are : Is this condo really sitting on such a bad piece of land? Also, Am I not supposed to buy this unit sinc eit's facing north and south?Hope you can advice. Thanks
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 26, 2005 Staff Share Posted July 26, 2005 Yes, some Feng Shui practitioners would view the development as unfavourable -- mostly because it is just right at the door steps of the main gate of the army camp. In addition, many army camps, do have stories of -- soldiers commiting suicide in the past. But nowadays, this camp is more into logistics..And mostly because of this reason, it is why some FS practitioners view it as inauspicious. Otherwise, in my opinion, not a major issue.Quote:Alan Kwang wrote:My wife and I are seriously looking at a second 3 rooms unit at the Forrest Hills Condo recently. Yes, it is indeed true that even if one is a west group person, it is totally ridiculous to have the unit facing West or living /balcony or majority of bedrooms facing such a direction! In your case, a more suitable unit is one where although the main door is facing north, it would be better if the bedrooms located in the westerly parts of the home (given that it is not the corner unit) but sandwiched in between so that it will not be affected by the afternoon sun. So far, I have a few clients who had stayed here and so far, there are no major concerns if any with regards to "bad Feng Shui".Warmest Regards,Cecil
myfs_114613
Thank you so much for your reply and advise Master Cecil. I've made a mistake about the main door facing. It's actually facing the South and the bedrooms/Living room are facing North actually.Regards
