Yes, flying star is about the feng shui of the house. ie whether a sector is balanced or unbalance. Where it is unbalance, you must attempt to balance the sector first.


Once you have sufficient balance the flying star sector, then you can work on improving your own individual ba zi luck by choosing the correct colour sheme (as long as it does not adversely affect the flying star). ie say if the room as Star 2, then avoid painting the room Yellow, even if Earth is favourable for you.


Everyone will have at least two favourable element, so you should be able to find another element that you can use in place of the one that might activate the bad stars.
