Multiple Poison Arrows

Hello,

We are living in a townhouse and there are three objects supposedly acting as poison arrows to the front door:

- Pointed roof of a house exactly in front of the main door

- There is a lamp post and a tree both of which are shorter than the house we live in. However both are not exactly in line with the front door, but a little away.

I tried putting a Ba Kua mirror over my door, however because we have front porch the pointed roof does not get reflected in the mirror, though it is visible when we stand at the door.

My question is - can I hang the mirrorto the porch ceiling in front of the door to face the pointed roof top, instead of over the door?
