Hi,

My personal element is Strong Metal and suppose stay in a house facing east and house element is Wood. On contrary, inthe destructive cycle, isnt it strange that there is a clash with my personal element Metal against house element Wood ? This is confusing and please explain further.

Metal destroy Wood. Under the ba zi the element your self can destroy is your wealth. This is actually a productive cycle. Thus, if you have a house facing East, this is a Wood house. Thus, this is considered under your bazi as your wealth element.

The destructive cycle you are talking about should be Fire destroy Metal. If you face South for example, this would be a fire house. Thus, fire destroy your Metal. I think you may have confused the five element flow.

The only difference here is that a weak Metal will not benefit from a Wood house simply because the Metal isn't strong enough to destroy Wood. Thus, not being able to control the wealth. This is like you are a small knife trying to cut down a tree.

However, a Strong Metal means you have lots of Earth and Metal making it strong. Thus, it is more then sufficient to control the Wood. This is like you are a chainsaw trying to cut down a tree.

So the difference in whether or not you can benefit from the wealth element lies in whether you are weak or Strong Metal.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
