i'm a college student and i was planning to renew my apartment lease. i found a friend to block with me, but at the last minute, she backed out because her parents say that the feng shui of the entrance of my apartment building is really bad. i kind of suspect that her parents are just using fengshui as an excuse to prevent my friend from signing an apartment lease. i was wondering if the following feng shui rule is true, and also, is there anything that can balance it out?

the streetoutside the front entrance of my apartment building is curved...however, the entrance to my apartment building is after the curve where the street has straighted out. is this extremely bad feng shui? also, is there a remedy for the location of the entrance which can't really be moved since it's a part of the apartment?
