May I enquire if it is advisable to have my ROM after the funeral? Else please advise how long should we wait till to be auspicious for my ROM? Regards,Kel. Sorry to learn about your father's mother illness.Generally, under the Chinese tradition and customs. Normally, if a relative past away. Any wedding should take place quickly after 100 days from the deceased. If not you have to wait until after 3 years (this is to cater to the dai xiao). This is typically what most tradiitonal Chinese will follow.
