Dear Cecil , Robert

Hello. I live in a period seven home. My home has 4 rooms and is almost rectangular in shape. In September 2004, I changed the flooring tiles of my one room ( only one room ). There was no other changes made in the house. Does this renovation make my home a period8 home? Please advice as Iam not enjoying goodtime since the beginning of period 8. My house is almost rectangular with main door facing Northeast but it is situated in the North corner of the house.

Best regards,

Paddy

This is quite similiar to another post I just replied.

Usually the changing of floor tiles often is considered major renovation even if it is limited to one room only. So it is quite likely that your house luck have crossed over to a period 8 house luck.

So there might besome unbalanced sectors where there might be star 2 / 5 (illness/misfortune stars) that is active and uncontrolled.

Another possibility is whether this room is it located in South-West sector? If it is, you might have disturbed the Grand Duke which is another possible explanation.

Last but not least, sometimes your own individual luck may have also changed to another luck period which is less favourable.Make use of some of our free tools ie the free flying star chart and ba zi analysis. Check the luck of the house in period 8 and ba zi luck see which one is likely to be the issue.

Anyway, based on what you have provided, the house like has probably changed to a period 8 chart. So look out for the star 2/5 location and balance that sector. I also suspect you check your individual luck as it might also have entered into a less auspicious year etc.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your reply. I think I did disturb the Grand Duke Jupiter while renovating as one portion of SW (240.0 TO 247.5) lie in that room which I renovated and the Grand Duke was there in 2004.Recently I have placed Pi Yao in the East facing West to appease the Duke after reading a lot of your advice forums. Does this solve the problem? As you have suggested, I have checked the 2/5 combination and it lies in the NW sector with 9 as the base star. Please suggest a remedy as I have had enough trouble after the beginning of period 8 especially after this renovation. Also one more question. My Gua no is eight. In period eight the misfortune star 5 lies in SW which is the best direction for us the 8 Gua holders. Does this mean that period 8 homes won't be that suitable to people with Gua no eight?

Thank you for your help again.

Warm regards and Merry Christmas to you in advance,

Padmanabh
