It also says my unfavourableelement color to avoid is greenBut other sites says that I am Kua 3 wood element, and my favourable element color is green. So which is my real element color. One is theelement from the four Pillarsanother is the element from my Kua No.3 - wood.

While Ba Zi considers your date and even time of birth. Both concepts will have an element (ie Kua element and Ba Zi element). Ba Zi element will of course be more accurate since it considers the date and time of birth. So in terms of colour scheme we always use the ba zi element rather than Kua element.Eight House is more often used for the 4 good and 4 bad directions because even though it is very simple in just using YEAR of birth, it has proven time and time again to be extremely useful for choosing bed placement, house suitability or any concept that is for micro level type analysis. ie small area of analysis.Whereas, Ba Zi seems to be more suitable for more macro level analysis ie like if South (Fire) is favourable element for you, so staying in Southern part of Singapore is more favourable than say Northern part of Singapore. So in summary, both are two different theories. For colours, is is always better to follow the Ba Zi element, for directions especially for bed/study/work position you will apply the Eight House concepts. The Kua element is often not really useful in most cases when you have the more accurate Ba Zi element.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
