I am new to this website. Just curious whether are our destinies(study, career,marriage, etc...)set when we are born? Are we able to change or accept them as it is????

In general, under feng shui there is Heaven, Earth, Human luck.

So under the heaven luck, it is often said that the kind of luck a person is supposed to have is generally pre-determined. However, since there are still two more factors Earthluck and Human luck, these two can still help to alter some of the given luck.

For example, a good Earth luck can make an inauspicious 10-year luck better than it is predicted in the ba zi. Good Human luck ie having good relationship with your boss, can make your career path smoother. So these can make it better than the predicted luck.

So that means that your given is generally pre-destined. However, you can still make the best of it depending on your Earth and Human luck.
