Or is there a general calender for the whole year which should which date is good for shifting? In general, there are a few ways of checking to determine a good date:-1. If you do not plan to use a tung shu / alamac calendar or ba zi, then most will agree that 1st or 15th day of the lunar calendar is often considered an auspicious date in general.2. If you at least have a tung shu / alamac calendar, you can look for dates which is stated to be generally auspicious. In general, these should be good dates for everyone on this planet.3. The more accurate way is to check on tung shu (avoiding really bad dates), while makings sure it is suitable to your ba zi. These are really the more personalised dates that will fit you. Given that each person is unique, there is no such perfect date that is good for everyone. Thus, by matching against your ba zi, this gives you the best dates. We do havea free30-daysauspicious date analysis for people needing to look for auspicious dates that does the analysis for you:-URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-dateboth.htmHope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
