How to determine 'Cai Wei' in my house?

I just started to have an interest in fengshui and would like to find out how to determine the "cai wei" or wealth area in my house. What items should i place to create better wealth. Can you also give me some examples of instead of asking contractor to build up a divider for me in the living room to prevent chi from going from front door to direct window. what can i place instead of spending money to made one.
