myfs_122383
I have read that the 3rd day of each lunar month (+ several other days) are very inauspicious "killing" days of the month and big events should be avoided on such days.Is this still the case if personally (based on DOB & time of birth) this is a very auspicious day?Should I avoid moving house on the 27th July and Move in on 28th? Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 27, 2006 Staff Share Posted July 27, 2006 Dear Chrissy,Not all 3rd day of each lunar month is bad. And many Chinese do celebrate some of the auspicious events on this day:-For example:-3rd day of every 1st Lunar monthBirthday of a Chinese Toaist God commonly called Sun. Many Toaist celebrate his birthday on this date.3rd day of every 2nd Lunar monthBirthday of the Chinese god of literature. 3rd day of every 3rd Lunar monthThis is the birthday of the God of the protector of the North3rd day of every 8th Lunar monthBirthday of the Kitchen God deity3rd day of every 10th Lunar MonthBirthday of General MaoEspecially in the past, because of the birthday significance of such famous gods (deity or general) these days are considered auspicious for some. Thus, from the above, it does not look like all 3rd days are very inauspicious. It is like saying that because it is the Year of the tiger, one cannot get married. Based on our experience, the ba zi dates are personalised to the person. It has a basis of one's ba zi with five elements concept. Thus, if it is me, I will still stick to the same date.Warmest Regards,CecilQuote:Chrissy RAdon wrote:I have read that the 3rd day of each lunar month (+ several other days) are very inauspicious "killing" days of the month and big events should be avoided on such days.
