Where to start ?

Dear Mr. Cecil !

I have very much problems in my life,includes health,spirit,money,family and so on.I was verry pesimistic untill I discovered Feng - shui.The same moment I had some good feeling about it.In the last year agoI have read so much books,which are not easy to find here,and now I?ve been blessed to find your site.Now,I have so much informations,but don?t know where to start ?

Firstly, a warm welcome!

The common saying goes " Rome was not built in a day". Nowadays with easy access to the website, you try to begin exploring authentic Traditional Feng Shui.

How to start?

The Chinese Luck system is based on "the holy trinity" of luck. And one can classify most of the systems in general under:-

1. Heaven Luck - what one is suppose to be born with
2. EarthLuck - The Feng Shui of one's home &/or office
3. Human or Man Luck - self, relationship with others

One useful start is to read the various articles in this forum classified under one of the three categories to better understand the three different luck systems.

Other useful reads or classification are:

1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui
2. Compass School: Eight House & Flying Star
3. Five Elements Concept

It is not possible to list out a host of these and other concepts. But I am confident that if you can start to grasp all of the above, first, then it would be a good foundation stone for you to start a proper journey applying sound FS practises.

It is a pity that Feng Shui is not too commercialised. And one key point is: Avoid buying PRODUCTS, PRODUCTS & PRODUCTS. Many sites sell everything under the name of Feng Shui (FS), I personally feel that what many consumers are doing is to throw away our money. The people that gain are those that sell such products!

There are already many people who even purchased such products with credit card and had lots of roll over finance burden. Some case even leading to divorce as one partner secretly practise such "FS".

So long as one keeps away or beware or "cavet emptor - let the buyer beware" of such acts which may lead to a vicious cycle of poverty, misery etc...
