Hi, I am reading about period 8structure for my home and the house layout for my personal direction base on my KUA no 1 which is north. Well, my house face north and the main door face north that great. But base on period 8 NE and East is good. But base on Kua East, SE and South is good. While both accepted North and East while main door is good and dining at East is good. What happen to NE,SE and S which is conflict in interest with period 8. Thanks for the help.

Dear Rahman,

Sorry, don't get what you mean by "What happen to NE,SE and S which is conflict in interest with period 8. "

One has to look at the flying star charts of each sector e.g. NE, SE and South to check for any imbalances. If there are any imbalances, try to neutralise them.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Sorry, I did not elaborate.

Base on my Kua no 1 my house should face North already is and my main door is also North. Also East is known as Health and SE is known as Prosperity and South is known as Longevity. Also to take note that NE is spook.

However, when I read about period 8 whose house face North, main door at north is good. It is said that North is 4 with a double 8. NE 2 and East 6are lucky. But SE 7, South 3 and SW 5 are said to be unlucky.

If I were to combine both, NE is lucky spook and SE is unlucky Properity and South is unlucky Longevity. Hope this does not offend anyone.

Hence, do I treat the area as in period 8 and minimize the the unlucky area. Or do treat the area as my KUA area and maximise the area.

Hope that could help.

Dear Rahman,

1. Try not to mix the two theories: Eight House vs Flying Star Chart

2. Eight House chart is used for:
a. Checking how suitable one is to the home
b. Sleeping and working facing a good direction
c. Nice-to-have spending time at a good sector. (Nice-to-have and not MUST-have since we already purchased such a home and layout /compass direction are fixed.

It is always good to have a home suitable to the person. For example, you mentioned that North is a suitable home.

For positioning of bed-head; study/work directions - try to see if one can face a good direction.

Other than this, what you had mentioned perhaps about Flying star numbers SW 5; these are about the birth chart of the home. And should be looked at based on Flying Star Feng Shui: it's cures and enhancments - distinct from your eight house chart.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
