Dear Sir/ Madam,

You wrote that for something to have an influence it needs to be more than 33.3% of the space. So how come small windchimes and pagua mirrors work when they seldom take up less space then that?

Also, how does sound (as in the windchime) affect the 5 elements?

Talking about mirrors? How exactly do they work? For example, the convex mirrors deflect shar chi, but does it also deflect auspicious chi?

Thanks!

Warmest Regards, Violet

Dear Violet,

1. You have a good point. Not all things that influence has more than 33.3% space. In general, many FS practitioners look at colours e.g. on a wall; curtains and bedsheets. And thus this is how the 33.3% "influence comes into being".

2. You are correct to say that small windchimes and bagua mirrors are small, yet do not occupy 33.3 per cent of space. These category of objects should be distinct from what was mentioned under Para 1.

3. Wind chimes

In general, wind chime is suppose to help neutralise bad Flying Star numbers like #5 misfortune/sickness and various combinations of #5 with #2 sickness and /or with #9 fire element.

As these elements: #5 , #2, are considered as bad earth element (often combined with #9 fire fuels earth);traditionally, many practitioners advise "moving metal" such as a wind chime or even a pendulum clock (moving metal) to help neutralise it.

4. Ba gua mirror(s)

Please goto the conference: Photo Tours of Interest (with pictures):-

Do a SEARCH for " Part IV - Other matters relating to Ba Gua" or

"Part III - Concave Mirror Type"

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
