Dear Anon,

If we strictly consider based on Chinese Astrology, the Rat is considered diagrammatically opposite the Horse. As such they are suppose to be one of the worst pairings in the Chinese Astrology (zodiac) signs.

However, phew! 50 years old? Go get a life, and since life at 50 is "really, really short"; why not.. even cannot MUST make it POSSIBLE!

We can understand if one is 18 to 30 years. May be head-strong, stubborn or combative. But at 50 years old? Gosh! One should hopefully have mellowed down! And be more understanding!

With regards to both the Chinese as well as Western zodiac signs: You see, many of us often read our own signs (zodiac sign) and often, (by auto-suggestion) by what we read, act some of the part of the characteristics of that sign.

But for animals, there is less probability of auto-suggestion. Thus, the more we read the zodiac signs, some of us, act that part or unconsciously act that part of our zodiac sign!
