personal Kua directions

When enhancing a personal direction either for success or health,or properity in the office, what is more importantant here?

Kua is (9) east gp.for my husband.

Would one go by kua no. and directions according to 8mansion formula or Enhance North sector with Metal and water elements and blue black color,placement of a turtle.

SE with small wood

East with green color and wood. Computor is placed in this direction.

S direction with red color for fame.There is a window here.I will place a picture of a mountain here for the protection.

I am afraid to make wrong decissions, would you please help.

Authentic Feng Shui is based on the two major schools:
1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui
2. Compass School Feng Shui

And many of us should be aware that under Compass School Feng Shui; there areonly two sub-sections:
a. Flying Star Feng Shui
b. Eight Mansions / Eight House / Ba Cai / 4 Good/Bad Directions

Thus Eight Mansions, comes under so many names.

Therefore, the clue, here is that one should rightfully apply both the Flying Star Feng Shui and Eight Mansions. Since both arethe key cornerstones of Compass School Feng Shui.

What you have mentioned relations to the Eight Aspirations (Life Associations)vs Eight Mansions (Eight House).

The Eight Aspirations or Life Assocations concept is VERY VERY popular in the West. This is where the fixed ba gua method has been derived i.e. Black Hat Sect and many "kindergarden" type of Feng Shui practitioners.

Thus, as you had mentioned North = career, SW = romance sector etc...

Such fixed template models are firstly too general to be of use.

Many people, even Tom, Dick or Harry can easily start a book on this topic, easily! Even a teenager can write such a book. Often such books start with:-

Chapter 1 : North = Your career sector
Chapter 2 : SW = Your romance sector

In fact, with much imagination, one can easily write such a book within a month or so.

Frankly, I don't need to go on for you to figure out the ease of writing and publishing such books.

And another more important point is that thanks to this type of "Feng Shui" it has made many who sell products "dirt" rich or very rich!

In fact, many people prefer to sell products because; firstly they are often cheaply made but "in the name " of Feng Shui, sold at very high mark-up! So, these people, would sell us all sorts of products to suit this Eight Aspirations concept... from turtle figurines to other products!

Products are often "Bull-shit"

1. For many of us, if we look back to our grandparents "time" or even "parents" time, there were no such thing as "crystals" or many of the newly invented objects or items "in-the-name" of Feng Shui. Thus most of these products, aim to extra money from our pockets ... and as a result line the pocket of the sellers.

2. Many of these products do not come with a guarantee card that; for example, after purchasing it e.g. the three-legged-toad; one would instantly win a lottery etc... Far from it. The seller got it made in China for a few Chinese Yuan money and sell them at high mark-ups!
