Main door facing of main door location?

Dear Cecil,

Which direction should I take when doing the flying star fengshui: the main door facing direction ( taken from centre of house) or the main door direction ( taken at the main door) ?

For period 8, south direction is the best with double 8. Can one buy a house with main door facing south/ direction if it clasehes with my gua number 8 ( male) and wife (gua 7) ?

This recent posting, should help you understand, how to take a compass reading of the "mouth" or facing direction of a home:-

1. Please goto the conference: Feng Shui Tips and Guidelines.

Immediately on the top page of the conference, try to read two articles: Part I Facing direction of a home Part II Facing Direction of a home.

2. More importantly, one need to understand the concept of Flying Star or what is considered as the "mouth" of the house from this article. If so, one can basically apply Flying Star Feng Shui more effectively.

3. And hopefully able to answer your questions, either more convincingly or with conviction. As no two homes are the same nor for apartments - where height or storey /floor can play a difference.

In past forum messages, I had mentioned that in GENERAL there are favourable homes depending on your gua (kua) number. Assuming under Period 8:-

Thus for East group, South facing and East facing are normally better than say North facing or SE facing. However, caution, here : other factors include external and interior shapes and forms.

For West group, again generally, NE and SW are suppose to be better homes.

Thus, even if one is say an East group, owning a NE or SW home or apartment, generally, these homes are suppose to have better wealth luck. (But bear in mind that NE or SW homes have to correct "sickness stars at the front and back of the home) to achieve better Feng Shui luck.

Thus, since our home = earth luck, if our earth luck is very good, it can be considered as higher weightage in our quest to achieve better luck. Besides, this, what we are born with (Heaven) and Human (relationships with each other) also plays another consideration in our overall wealth luck.
