Correct position for turtle

Dear cecil,
Besides putting the turtle in the north are there any rules which apply to turtle(which way should it face or should be kept near the main door or on a window etc) Thanks.

Dear Anon,
As you have asked three questions that seems like superimposing the Four Symbolic Animal literally inside a home, generally, this is considered a `flawed' and is akin to practising Feng Shui the BTB way or commonly recommened by some book authors without due regard to proper Traditional Feng Shui.
